--> My new peg tube is ... FANTASTIC!
I barely felt my last tube when I made any movement for my daily tasks. However, since my current tube is now noticeably shorter & far less malleable, my nurse is required to stand much closer during my meals. Also, she has to use the plunger [very sparingly] to eliminate any excess air in my tube. Consequently, my feeding process could possibly only slightly speed up. However, I hafta push my laptop a few feet away during each feeding, just in case there's any spillage. Plus, it'll take a lil' while to grow accustomed to both the setup & the process.
--> Nevertheless, I am EXTRRRRREMELY [beyond] content with all of my staff's quick understanding of THEIR necessities with MY new tube. ('Tis mainly my two nurses' competence.)
